Public-infrastructure LV switchboards: N-TYPE sensors on each phase at the breaker
Small N-TYPE Thermalpas sensors on the phase conductors feeding a low-voltage breaker, in the switch boxes of a public-infrastructure project.
- 3Phase conductors sensed at the breaker shown
- 30 ARating of the three-pole breaker shown

The problem
A public-infrastructure project needed temperature sensing on the wiring inside its low-voltage switch boxes.
What was installed
Field photos show N-TYPE sensors fixed with cable ties to each of the three phase conductors just above a three-pole 30 A breaker, and a digital temperature display mounted in a small box above the switchboards. Each reading approximates the conductor's surface temperature.
The outcome
The catalogue documents the installation only; no results are reported. What it shows is the method: one sensor per phase on the conductor at the breaker terminal, so each phase can be read separately.
